Your data, and what you can ask us to do with it

You can ask us to delete everything you provided — the recording, the transcript, your answers, your screening responses. Where the interview has already been analysed alongside others, we delete your contribution; conclusions already drawn from the study as a whole aren’t reversible, and we’ll tell you if that applies.

The fastest route is the “delete my data” link on the page shown at the end of your interview. It works immediately, with no need to identify yourself, because you’re still signed in to that interview.

If you’ve closed that tab, email [PRIVACY@ — DEDICATED MAILBOX] from the address you were invited at, or send us your interview link. We’ll confirm the request is genuinely yours before acting — a deletion request we can’t verify is a way for someone else to erase your data, so this step protects you. We respond within [RESPONSE COMMITMENT — CONFIRM].

Same route, same verification. We’ll send you your transcript, your answers, and a copy of your recording where one exists. What we hold, and for how long, is listed in the privacy notice.

Stop at any point during an interview by closing the page or telling the interviewer. Afterwards, withdrawing consent and asking for deletion are the same request — use the route above.
