Is this invitation real?
Good instinct. Paste the link from your invitation — or just the code at the end of it — and we’ll tell you whether it’s a live study on this platform and who commissioned it. You don’t have to agree to anything to check, and checking doesn’t start an interview.
A genuine invitation from us will always
- link to a page on staging.thequestiondesk.com, and nowhere else
- name the study you’re being invited to
- tell you what’s recorded before anything is
- never ask for a password, a payment, or bank details
- never ask you to install anything
We will never
Ask you for money, ask for your bank or card details, ask for a password, or ask you to send us a copy of your ID. No study we run needs any of those, so a message asking for one is not from us however much it looks like it.
If something you’ve received doesn’t match this, don’t click it — forward it to privacy@thequestiondesk.com and we’ll tell you whether it came from us.

You can ask us for a copy of everything we hold, or to delete it — your data and your rights explains how, and what we need from you.
